Kathy's Tumbleweed has been inspiring students through dance for over thirty-one years. Through the years Kathy has helped children and adults of all ages to build confidence. Kathy always encourages her students to strive at being the best that they can be.  Kathy started her dance studio in 1980, she was the sole teacher. The studio has grown tremendously over the years, however Kathy continually strives to maintain a "family" setting, giving the students room to grow in a nurturing environment. Her love for dance and children is what has made the dance school become what it is today.      

      At  Kathy's Tumbleweed the class size is limited to ensure individual attention is given.  Parents are allowed and encouraged to view their child during class. Kathy is always open to suggestions to better the studio. Registration, tuition prices, and costume costs are lower than any surrounding studio. Plus the fun does not stop with the classes, as there are many special planned events through out the year that we invite students, family and friends to participate in.       All teachers are qualified to teach the class they are leading and all teachers still particapate in classes and/or workshops themselves to make sure that the quality of class is above your expectations and updated with today's times. All classes are taught professionally, but friendly, structured but caring. Kathy's main goal is to be sure every student that attends her studio is having fun and is inspired to love to dance.

     Every year Kathy's Tumbleweed highlights their dancers with a recital like no other. Stage props are all  handmade by Kathy and her husband Mito; along with the teachers and any student who wishes to take part in the drawing, painting and designing of props, and gorgeous decorations. Special awards for attendance are presented at the recital and each and every student receives a silk rose in recognition for all their efforts and hard work.

Kathy's Tumbleweed is a recreational studio where Students Become Freinds and Freinds Become Family. Kathy's personal touch along with her staff is what sets Kathy's Tumbleweed apart from any other studio!
