Studio Rules and Regulations 
1.       Class tuition must be paid according to the Option Payment chosen. No refunds if student chooses to discontinue participating in a class. Late fees will be added if payment is not paid on time. Returned checks are subject to a $15.oo fee plus bank charges. If a student is going to be absent they are still responsible to pay for the class. Please contact the studio to notify the teacher in the event of an absentee.
2.       If the studio needs to close due to weather conditions or other special circumstances, the teacher will notify each student in advance. Be sure you give us a phone # we can always reach you at. Do not follow school cancellations. If in question please call the studio. A credit will go to your account if we need to cancel a class.
3.       The studio and the teachers are not liable for personal injuries or loss or damage to personal property. Since this is a physical activity, injuries may occur. Any student may decline to participate in any activity, which may be harmful. They are responsible to inform the instructor of any physical limitation, which may prevent full participation in class.
4.       A parent or guardian must accompany all small children when waiting for class. Once class has started no student is allowed to leave the studio premises at any time without being accompanied by the parent or guardian unless the teacher is notified. If the parent is going to be late picking up their child, then please notify the teacher and let your child know so they won’t worry. Be sure your child knows to never leave the studio! They must always stay inside and wait.
5.       We welcome family and friends to come and watch classes at any time. Please remember thou that at no time should a child be left at the studio alone, (to watch a relative or friend), with out a teacher being notified. Also please note if having a visitor seems to be disruptive to the class they may be asked to leave.
6.       ***** Throughout the year, students will be preparing to perform on stage for a recital. This year’s recital date is May 22nd & dress rehearsal May 21st. Show costumes will be purchased in late Nov. early Dec.
The last 2 weeks of classes before the show everybody’s class schedule changes. All must attend. Times will be posted early. Be sure you prepare your schedule for these 2 weeks.
 There is a 1x $10.00 rehearsal fee per student owed & collected in April. Show tickets go on sale in April also. If a student is not planning to participate in our show, please notify the teacher as soon as possible.
7.       Please take notice that parking space is always an issue here at Kathy’s Tumbleweed. I am sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.
Please beware NOT TO PARK in the drive thru area of the parking lot. This area must be kept open at all times. Always be aware of children, move slowly and always be on the look. Don’t forget our neighbor, next door. Please be considerate and do not use or obstruct their parking area.

Attendance awards are presented on stage at the end of the year to Jr. Division qualifying students.* Sr. Division students may or may not take part in this. Those who wish to receive an attendance award must sign the notice given at registration so we know that you are interested. (See Angel) RULES FOR ATTENDANCE AWARDS FOLLOW:1. Class attendance begins on the opening date of the studio for each individualized class, not the date each student themselves join the studio. This Year’s Opening Date is Monday September 20th.2. Attendance awards will be true to the student’s attendance but each student will be allowed one absentee per class as a rider in case of an emergency absentee. Use it wisely. No make up classes are offered. There are no exceptions to the rules. If you are absent, no matter the reason, it is counted as missing a class.

PERFECT ATTENDANCE

You will receive a trophy. The more classes you achieve this level of attendance, the LARGER the trophy.
HIGH HONORSYou missed 1 class and will receive a gold medalHONORS
You missed 2 classes and will receive a silver medal.HONORABLE MENTION
You missed 3 classes and will receive a bronze medal
All students (Jr. Division & Sr. Division) receive diplomas acknowledging a full year of participation.
