Pre-Dance Class Helper and Me for Ages 2 & 3
|
This class is
designed for our very young children. This class is preparing your child to be ready to enter into the world of dance. Students
will be moving to music in a fun exciting way while learning basic concepts of listening, following direction, working with
others, and learning over all basic class adequate. Dances will stretch
and do big and small movements to help coordination and strength. With fun songs and games the studio will become a fun and
familiar place to visit. The classes are taught helper and me style so even the shyest students will be comfortable.
These groups of dancers do not participate in the recital at the end of the year. This class is intended to prepare the student for
the next level of dance to perform in the future. Thursday 9Am to 9:45AM

Introduction
Combination Classes Jazz/Tumbling & Ballet/Tap Ages 3-7
|

These classes
are designed for young children introducing them into basic concepts of ballet, tap, jazz and tumbling skills. Students work
on stretch, strength, coordination and rhythm. The classes are taught with discipline and structure but they are taught in
a very friendly and fun atmosphere as to teach the student The Love of Dance that will stay with them forever. Ballet / Tap Ages 5, 6, and 7 Wednesday

Ballet Classes Ages 6-14
|
Ballet is the base of all dance. Students
learn technique, grace, and form. Ballet is the most discipline form of dance. It's precision and beauty is like
no other. Ballet is a must for any student who wishes to pursue a career in the dance world. Level 1: Ages 6-10 Tuesday 4:30 to 5:15 Level 2: Ages 9-13 (Ages 8 &
9 must have completed 2 years of level 1 or a class equivalent of.) Thursday 4:30 to 5:15

Tap Classes Ages 6-14
|
|
In this class students will learn to make sounds with their feet, tapping
out rhythms to a beat. Students will work on coordination, technique and rhythm. This is a style of dance that is
fun for all ages. Level 1:
Ages 6-9 Monday
3:45 to 4:30 Level 2: Ages 8-12 (Ages 8 & 9 must have completed
2 years of level 1 or a class equivalent of.) Tuesday 3:45 to 4:30 Level 3: Ages 10-14 (Ages 10-12 must have completed 2 years of level 2 or a class equivalent

Jazz Classes Ages 6-14
|
Jazz students learn the technique and discipline of
the style and rhythms of jazz dance. Class always starts with a stretching warm up that prepares the body to move with
style, strength and flexibility. Followed by across the floor dance patterns learning proper technique and practicing
a variety of jazz movements including kicks, leaps, and turns. Class finishes with a dance combination that will inspire
the overall joy and excitement one feels as the body learns to move to the beat of their favorite song. Level 1: Ages 6-9 Thursday 4:30 to 5:30 Level 1: Ages 9-12 Tuesday
3:30 to 4:30 Level
2: Ages 8-12 (Ages 8 & 9 must have completed 2 years of level
1 or a class equivalent of.) Thursday
3:30 to 4:30 Level 3: Ages 10-14 (Ages students must have completed 2 years of level 2
or a class equivalent of.) This level is for our serious
dancer. We will really push technique and expect top effort and dedication from each of our dancers. Stretching and working
correct technique is a must! Participation in a ballet class is strongly suggested if taking this class. (All students must
have completed 2 years of level 3 or a class equivalent of.) Tuesday 5:15 to 6:15

Hip Hop Classes Ages 9-14
|
|
Hip Hop is a very popular
style of dance that everyone wants to learn. It is upbeat, funky and lots of fun. In this class students learn today’s
latest moves to today’s hottest music.
Hip Hop teaches only a minimum of dance technique that is needed to be successful
in today’s dance world. Therefore this class is only offered to students who are enrolled in a jazz or ballet class
in order to learn dance technique. Level 1: Ages 9-12
Monday 4:30 to 5:30 Level 2: Ages 11-14 (Ages 11
& 12 must have completed 1 or more years of level 1 or a class equivalent of.)
Tuesday 6:15 to 7:15

Tumbling Classes Ages 6 PLUS
|
|
Students
learn tumbling skills as simple as a forward roll & cartwheel and eventually accomplish stunts as difficult as back handsprings,
no handed flips and more. Classes are taught with safe spotting by qualified instructors. Classes are offered by the levels
of the student’s skills not their age. Tumbling skills are learned in a series of building blocks. You start with the
smaller, easier skills and increase in levels to reach the much bigger, harder skills. Level 1: This level is for students who are beginners with no experience and
also for students with some experience that know the basics but have not yet learned successfully how to accomplish the skill
of a standing backbend, walks, hops, inside out rolls and pulling back up. Monday 4:30 to 5:30 Level
2: All students have learned the basic skills already and they successfully can do a standing backbend including
pulling back up. In this level the student is ready to move on to the next level of tricks learning front limbers pulling
up non stop and learning back walkovers with the foot pointed correctly. Some may know already how to do a back walkover but
they have just learned this skill and they have not yet learned the variations. Wednesday 5:30 to 6:30 Level 3: This
level is for the students who can do back walkovers easily and all the variations but maybe not yet the Valdez. Students also
can do basic front walkovers. We will begin working front walkover variations. Back handsprings, front
handsprings and aerials may be a new or not new trick for the student. We will be working hard on conquering these skills.
Thursday 5:30 to 6:30 Level 4: Students
in this level can easily do front walkovers. They also can do or are very close to accomplishing all the front walkover variations.
They can easily do all back walkovers and variations including the Valdez. They can do a standing back handsprings and may
or may not know back handspring variations. We will work back handsprings variations and those ready will start back tucks.
They will continue working on front handsprings and work on variations and arieals. Wednesday 6:30 to 7:30 Level 5 &
6: This is our most advanced level. All
students must already know how to do all front walkover variations and back walkovers variations. Students easily do back
handsprings, including all variations of them. They should be able to do front handsprings and front handspring variations
plus they can do or are close to doing aerials. Students will be working on back tucks, front tucks, aerials, forwards and
variations of all these tricks. Monday
