Dancers must be age 13 on or before December 31 2011
Teen and Adult Classes are offered in:

  • Jazz

 Learn Jazz technique, movement and style. Class begins with a stretching warm up and prepares the body to move with strength and flexibility, followed by across the floor dance patterns practicing  technique and different moves including kicks, turns and leaps. Class finishes up with a dance combination that will inspire the over all joy and excitement that one feels as the body moves to the beat of the music. This class is challenging and fun and it is a great way to keep in shape.
        Mixed Level:   For our Begginer / Intermediate level dancer.    Wednesday 6:30-7:30 

       Advanced:  All students must have completed 2 years of a jazz technique style class. This level is for our serious dancers. Stretching & Working Correct Technique

      will be stressed! Participation in a ballet class is strongly  suggested if taking this class. Thursday 6:30-7:30 

  • Hip Hop

         Hip Hop is a popular style of dance.  Hip Hop is up beat, energetic and a style many people love. Dancers learn today's moves to today's hottest music. It is a great way to get exercise and have fun
  •                    Beginner / Intermediate:  Thursday 7:30-8:30  

                       Intermediate / Advance:  Tuesday 8:30-9:30         

    Non Recital: Jazz / Hip Hop Mix

       For  those who wish to dance not perform. Just  Dance, Get in Shape, Socialize,  Have Fun!  ALL LEVELS WELCOME     Thursday 8:30-9:30 

    *Competition Teams     

    Take dance to the next level. Competition classes are for students who are willing to work hard and be dedicated.  Students are pushed to do their best but the class’s main focus is still on having fun. Our competition teams perform production style dances containing jazz and hip hop styles. All students no matter their level are welcome but students must be enrolled in a jazz or hip hop class to better prepare them for the skills that will be expected of them.            
     Monday 6:45-8:45
         

    Ballet / Lyrical

    Ballet is the base of dance.  Ballet teaches technique, grace and form. It is the most discipline of all dance styles. It's precision and beauty is like no other. Ballet is a must for any student who wishes to pursue a career in the world of dance. Ballet is also a great get in shape discipline. Dancers will work many areas of their body while learning grace and coordination. Lyrical is a style that is enhanced using ballet technique. It is a style that combines ballet skills and Jazz skills to make your body flow as you dance and feel the music and express yourself in a style all it's own.
    Ballet / Lyrical Mix:  For our Beginner / Intermediate level dancer. This class will be a mix combining basic ballet technique with a lyrical style combination. Tuesday 6:30-7:30
    Ballet Mixed Level: Recommended for students who are interested in working on true ballet technique and style.  Tuesday 7:30-8:30
    Lyrical:  Ballet technique is a must for this class therefore students must be enrolled in a technique ballet class in order to take part in this class. Thursday 5:30-6:30 

    Tap

      In tap a students will learn to make sounds with their feet, tapping out rhythms to the beat. Students will work on coordination, technique and rhythm. This is a class fun for all ages and a wonderful work out cardio and strength.

    Beginner / Intermediate:  Monday 5:30-6:15

                Advanced: Recomended for students who have completed 2 or more years of level 1.

                      Tuesday 5:30-6:30

                
    • GET IN SHAPE PROGRAMS OFFERED IN 8 WEEK PACKAGES

     

    • Belly Dancing / Hula  

                Belly dancing is an enjoyable form of dance and exercise. A great workout that you will love. Belling dancing will improve core strength and over all muscle tone.

                You will improve posture, balance, coordination, flexibility and grace. You will learn technique as you exercise. This is a partical class for all.          Wednesday 5:30-6:30

    • Latin 

                A  rhythmic dance workout. Technique will be addressed, styles of dance will include Samba, Maragie, Pasco Dobla, and Tango. This is a great class for everyone.     Call If Interested

    • Ballroom 

              All styles of ballroom will be addressed. Call If Interested

    • Pilates / Yoga 

                 Unlike some forms of exercise Pilate's does not over develop some parts of the body and neglect others. While training focus will be on core strength it trains the body as an integrated whole.

                 Pilate's workouts permeate strength and muscle development as well as flexibility and increase range of motion for the joints.

                Attention to core and full body fitness provides  integrated fitness that is hard to find elsewhere, We will work with all fitness levels and individual needs.       

              Monday 6:45-7:45 & Wednesday 10:00am - 11:00 am & 4:30pm -5:30pm

            

    • Zumba 

                     Zumba has become a popular form of exercise, appealing to all ages and ability. In an average one hour class it has been calculated that you will burn 750+ calories. Zumba contains many styles of dance

                     Salsa, Meringue, Reggatone,  Hip - Hop, Cumbia, Calypso as well as American Coubtry. A Total Body Workout and it's fun!   Tuesday 7:30-8:30

    Morning classes available and / or Private lessons upon request for all styles
